Cream of mushroom soup

Still, I need to think of how to get rid of my 1L cooking cream... Also, since I still have one package of mushroom which was intended to be used in the veggie pizza, I thought I'll just try out the cream of mushroom soup recipe. The original recipe didn't quite satisfy me, so I added some diced cheese to add more flavor to it. Maybe adding garlic or celery could enhance the taste too. This recipe is from AllRecipes.com. (Okay, I just realized that I made a cooking post, my opening paragraph would be in English, but my recipe is in Bahasa, teuing).




Bahan-bahan (2 servings):

  • 20 gr bawang bombay cincang

  • 15 gr mentega

  • 145 gr jamur kancing

  • 25 gr tepung

  • 300 ml kaldu ayam

  • 120 ml cooking cream

  • Garam secukupnya

  • Merica secukupnya

  • (30 gr keju)*

  • (broccoli, sweet corn)*


Cara membuat:

  1. Tumis mentega dan bawang bombay hingga harum. Kemudian masukkan jamur kancing.

  2. Campurkan tepung dengan kaldu ayam hingga menyatu. Tuang ke dalam tumisan jamur.

  3. Masak hingga mendidih dan mengental. Lalu, masukkan cooking cream, garam, dan lada (dan sayuran, jika menggunakan). Didihkan kembali selama 15 menit sambil diaduk.

  4. (tambahan) Masukkan keju parut dan masak di atas api kecil.
